AVID is a college and career readiness program that equips scholars with the academic, organizational, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills needed to succeed in rigorous courses and pursue advanced educational opportunities.

8th Grade Academy

The GPA 8th Grade Academy provides focused preparation for the transition to high school. Scholars receive academic guidance, leadership development, and support as they explore competitive high school options and advanced academic pathways.

A majority of GPA 8th grade graduates continue their education in middle colleges, early colleges, magnet programs, or other advanced high school preparation programs. Their success reflects the strong academic foundation, confidence, and readiness developed throughout their GPA experience.
